EXCITING NEW MEDICAL BENEFIT
Dear Members of the National Guard Association of SC,
It is our pleasure to report to you that the NGASC can now offer a new and important benefit for our members of the Association – an excellent Hospital Indemnity Plan is now available only to members of the National Guard Association of South Carolina. If you are not a member, please join by completing an application and returning it to the NGASC Office.
A recent survey of Guardsmen by the Ohio National Guard showed that, on average, about 23% of our men and women do not have private medical insurance. This makes it difficult for those individuals and their families. And, with the rising cost of medical coverage, many who do have insurance are seeing their benefits go down as their deductibles increase.
What is the NGASC doing about this situation? We are taking a leading role to develop an affordable plan that can benefit those who do not have medical coverage, as well as those who do. The Hospital Indemnity Plan pays for:
